Doing your bit
Help change the lives of hundreds of Indians who still live in extreme poverty and hunger.
Our Daan (donation) programme provides the essential funds that make our projects in India a reality. You can support us by giving to support our project or choose us for a fundraising event you are doing.

Giving Daan
You can in just a few steps set up a direct debit for regular donations or a one off donations online through our accounts at Just Giving or Charities Aid Foundation. We trust both but you choose which ever one you feel most happy with using.
Please consider setting up a direct debit for a regular donation as this allows us to be more effective in the work we do. £10 a month (30p a day) will make all the difference over a year in the life of a child going to school in a slum community, or to a person with visual impairments having access to professional information to allow them to lead an independent life.
Offline Donations
If you'd rather make arrangements directly with us, contact us for our off line donations form. Email us at
Fundraising Event
If you are planning to raise money through an sponsored event, consider choosing AFP as your charity of choice. You can set up a sponsorship page on Justgiving or get in touch for a sponsorship form.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, your donation can be made using Gift Aid. For every £1 that you give to a charity, AFP can reclaim an additional 28p from the Inland Revenue. For example, a donation of £10 would become worth £12.80. Gift Aid: Form
Why give?
Donating is a simple way of having a direct impact. You can help us ensure poor communities have the means to solve their problems and build a better future for themselves.
A gift of even just £1 a day is all it takes to start changing people’s lives in India.
Your Daan is crucial to supporting local communities improving their lives in the long-term.
I already give to many charities, what makes AFP different?
AFP is directly connected with the partner organisations we work with. With this extensive local knowledge, we spend your funds wherever poorest people need support the most. The long-lasting impact of your donation is closely followed up and regularly shared with you.
As a small organisation we aim for maximum impact. We achieve this through our rigorous research and ensure that the projects that we support are genuine, transparent and accountable, including after the donation is made.
