Volunteering towards Sustainable Development
International volunteering is a formal, unpaid and structured activity which provides individuals with an opportunity to share their own knowledge whilst developing their skill set further through taking on exciting new challenges. It contributes to the development of the community, charity and the volunteer.

AFP works with grassroots charities in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka. These organisations identify areas in which specific skills are required from volunteers to address the needs of their beneficiaries. We believe that the volunteers have as much to share as to gain from being part of the work of a grassroots charity.

Who can volunteer?
We offer a range of placements for students, recent graduates, experienced professionals and retired people and the programme is open to anyone over the age of 18. We organise both long and short-term placements and we will advise you on which placements are best suited based on your skills, experience, interests and availability.

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure.  There is no end to the adventures that we can have, if only we seek them with our eyes open.
