Eating in the Dark, I can't even see my food Is this how people who cannot see have to live all the time? Who is sitting next to me?

-Being taken out of your comfort zone
-Not being able to see the people around you
-Being dependent on someone else

Enter the world of a visually impaired person.
Hear the work of our partner organisation in India Mitra Jyothi through the experience of two of our
returned volunteers Paresh (visually impaired himself) and Hiren.

Come join us for a ‘Dine in the Dark*’ experience on Monday the 22nd of June 2009 and eat a unique meal
served by blind waiters.

Tickets cost £25 (usually £32, and includes a two course surprise vegetarian meal and non alcoholic cocktail),
payable through or cheque (payable to Asian Foundation for Philanthropy)
latest by Monday 15th June 2009. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment!

Please email , t: 0207 . The venue details will be sent upon confirmation.
* The dinner takes place in complete darkness, where the diner is completely reliant on their blind waiter. The menu is a surprise as well.
